Answers before you hire

Most traders want the same few answers before they reach out: what it costs, how long it takes, and whether a custom build is worth it over a preset bot. Here are direct answers to the questions we hear most often.

How much does a custom trading bot cost?

Indicative package prices are listed on our pricing page, but the final quote depends on how complex your strategy is, the platform you trade on and any prop firm rules you need to follow. We confirm the exact price after reviewing your written spec.

How long does it take to build a custom trading bot?

Timing depends on the number of rules, instruments and platforms involved, so a simple single-strategy bot takes less time than a multi-symbol build. We give you a timeline once your spec is approved, and backtesting is included before anything goes live.

Is it worth hiring a developer to build a trading bot?

It is worth it when your edge depends on specific conditions that a generic tool cannot express. A developer turns your exact entry, exit and risk rules into code you can review, rather than forcing your strategy into someone else's settings.

What is the difference between a trading bot builder and custom development?

A bot builder gives you a fixed set of templates and options, while custom development writes the logic from your own rules. Custom work costs more upfront, but every condition is yours, documented and under your control. Learn more on our How It Works page.

Can you build a prop firm trading bot?

Yes. Daily loss limits, drawdown caps and other firm rules can be written into the spec and checked during backtesting. We cannot promise you will pass any challenge, but the bot will follow the rules you provide.

Can someone build an MT5 expert advisor from my rules?

Yes, we build MT5 expert advisors directly from a written strategy brief covering entries, exits and risk. If you trade on MT4 or TradingView, we build for those platforms too. See our platforms page for details.

Is a custom trading bot better than a generic one?

For traders with a defined strategy, usually yes, because the bot does exactly what your rules say and nothing else. A generic bot may be simpler to start with, but it cannot reproduce conditions it was not designed to handle.
